Event Description This year, Cheaha State Parks celebrated 80 years of conservation, recreation, and service. We would like to invite you to celebrate with us. We will take a look at the Civilian Conservation Corp. The CCC was a group of young men who built state and national parks, planted millions of trees, fought countless forest fires, reshaped conservation, and offered hope to a tired and discouraged nation. Come learn about the young men that shaped a nation.
