Cheaha Challenge

Event Description
The Northeast Alabama Bicycle Association (NEABA) is honored to announce we will once again host the ONLY qualifier in the USA for the 2018 UCI Gran Fondo World Championship. The Cheaha Challenge Gran Fondo Century distance (100 miles) will serve as the qualifier for all age groups.
The 2017 Cheaha Challenge Gran Fondo Century & ULTRA ride upholds the tradition of excellence established 25 years ago. The 1992 ride organizers' vision, to create a challenging route over the highest point in Alabama - Mount Cheaha - and then back again, continues to fulfill the event's tagline promise to be "the toughest ride in the South."
Routes include 24 miles, 44 miles, 62 miles, 84 miles, a century, ultra and Ladiga Cruise family ride.
