Gamecock Arts Summer Program (GASP)

Date: June 23, 2019 - June 28, 2019

Event Description The School of Arts and Humanities at Jacksonville State University would like to invite you to join us for GASP. The Gamecock Arts Summer Program (GASP) is an opportunity for high school students aged 13-18 to experience college level art and performance activities. This year we are offering a Musical Theatre Intensive and a Visual Arts Camp. This program is geared towards talented students that are serious about furthering their Arts and Humanities education. The classes and workshops will be taught by the faculty of the drama, music, and visual arts departments. In addition to participating in workshops, performances, and art shows students will also have recreation time on campus, as well as staying in the dorms and dining at the Jack Hopper Dining Hall.

There are residential and non- residential options for both the Musical Theatre Intensive and the Visual Arts Camp. The camps will be held separately, but the recreation time will allow students to come together and collaborate.

GASP will be help at Jacksonville State University June 23rd- June 28th, 2019.

Registration deadline June 14, 2019.
