Date: June 21, 2018 Time: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Event Description Wabi Sabi, a cat in Japan, had never thought much about her name until visiting friends asked what it meant. When her owner answers that it is difficult to explain, she sets out on a journey to find the meaning of her name. Join Berman Museum's education department staff to learn the unique world view that is wabi sabi during the reading of “Wabi Sabi” by Mark Reibstein, learn about the Japanese traditions that go hand in hand, and participate in a fun craft! These readings will take place in the Arts of Asia gallery by Berman Staff.
