Survive! Zombie Apocalypse Workshop

What if Cheaha State Park was the last safe zone in our area after a mulit-county zombie outbreak? This FALL BREAK fun, educational and useful workshop will teach students (ages 7-15 years; older students welcome!!) and their families how NOT to be found by zombies (camouflage and forest hide-n-seek), shelter building, fire building, water filtration, and basic first aid skills. Instructors include wildlife biologists, naturalists, paramedics, nurses, and other qualified staff. Includes all supplies, instruction, and a cookout (hot dog) lunch! $15 per child; $5 per adult. An adult parent/guardian required to attend with children. No drop offs. This will be a zombie-free safe zone at Cheaha State Park's Leave No Trace Outdoor Classroom across from the CCC Museum/Tower. Tickets will go on sale September 1, 2017. Space is limited to 40 children. This will fill quickly!
