Event Description Third Thursday in the Gardens: It’s July in Alabama and all you want is something cold and refreshing. Come join us for the Watermelon Wingding where LBG staff and volunteers will be serving up a variety of ice cold watermelon from 5-6 PM. See an array of different watermelon varieties and lend your thoughts toward the LBG Watermelon Taste Test. To reserve your spot, call Anniston Museum at 256-237-6766. Reservations are required. Cost is $5 per person and free to members. The gardens will be open to the public from 10-5 and guests will have the opportunity to purchase plants from the greenhouses.
