Event Description Now in its 35th year, Anniston’s Annual Historic Woodstock 5K is set for Saturday, August 1st. Every year the Anniston Runners Club puts on this fun community event that promotes healthy and active lifestyles for every age. Last year, the Woodstock 5K helped bring over 1,400 runners and walkers to The Model City. This year, the Woodstock 5K will host the Road Runners Club of America’s Southern Region 5K Championship at 7:30 a.m., with the Kidstock 1 Mile race following at 8:30 a.m. After finishing the challenging course that begins at Anniston High School, and crossing the finish line on Woodstock Avenue, the real party begins. Food, fellowship, and lots of fun await with an after-race celebration complete with music and vendors in historic downtown Anniston.
