City of Anniston News Release: 3/13/2024

Good Afternoon, 

The City of Anniston would like to inform you of two upcoming downtown transit alerts. 

To start, please be aware of an intersection closure on Noble Street for Thursday, March 14, 2024. The Northbound & Southbound Crosswalks on Noble Street, at its intersection with 11th Street, will be closed during the day. Traffic will still be able to travel through the Eastbound and Westbound lanes on 11th Street.

In addition, please take note of multiple road closures this Saturday, March 16, 2024, from approximately 8:00 AM CT until 12:00 PM CT for the annual Shamrockin’ 5K Color Run/Walk. The following roads will be closed during this time for the event: (1) 11th Street from Gurnee Avenue to Moore Avenue, & (2) Moore Avenue from 12th Street to 10th Street.
